A crisp smell erupted through the air. Her house definitely smelled like her. Her company drives my cheeks red. I swallow. She wanted to ask me something, but that was a few minutes ago. I guess she didn’t want to ask me yet— and didn’t have the nerves to. Yet. But at the same time I had to ask her something myself. To be honest, we’re most likely thinking the same thing. I decide to ask her something- but I’ll get to the big question after.
“So, why’d you want me over here?” I ask.
“Uhm,” she pauses, “I needed to ask you something… I don’t know how to ask the question though,” she replies.
I clear my throat and say, “I actually think we may be thinking of the same thing..”
“Really? What makes you think that?” She retorts.
